Yes — we are an official MAN Service Partner with factory-trained technicians, MAN CATS III diagnostic equipment, and access to genuine MAN parts and operating fluids. We also service all other commercial vehicle makes including Mercedes-Benz, Ford, Iveco, DAF, Volvo, Scania, Volkswagen, and Renault.
Vans up to 3.5 tonnes require a standard Class 4 or Class 7 MOT — the same test format as a car, carried out at an approved testing station. HGVs over 3.5 tonnes need a separate DVSA annual test, which is a more rigorous inspection covering air brakes, suspension, chassis, and coupling equipment. We handle both at our Yeovil workshop, so whether you run vans, rigids, or artics, we've got you covered.
Yes — we run dedicated service bays for both. Van servicing follows manufacturer schedules and covers engine, brakes, steering, and diagnostics using OBD-II protocols. HGV servicing is geared towards O-licence compliance, with preventive maintenance inspections (PMIs), air brake checks, and heavy-duty diagnostics using J1939 protocols. Different vehicles, different requirements — but we're fully equipped for both.
Absolutely. We work with operators running mixed fleets of vans and HGVs, managing planned maintenance programmes, PMI schedules, MOT and annual test dates, and tachograph calibrations. We'll help you stay compliant and reduce unexpected downtime across your whole operation.

If you hold an O-licence for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes, yes — PMIs are a legal requirement and the Traffic Commissioner expects them at regular intervals (typically every six to eight weeks). For vans under 3.5 tonnes, PMIs aren't legally required but we strongly recommend regular servicing to avoid costly breakdowns and keep your fleet roadworthy.
